IQAC

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, proposed that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure, to seek and accomplish quality up-gradation of institutions of higher education.

IQAC was constituted at Bhavan’s Vivekananda College on 01st October 2012. The effort to maintain the quality and to enhance the process of improvisation in the quality control has been the major thrust of IQAC. The IQAC is a driving force for eliminating shortcomings and enhancing quality.

Objectives & Functions of IQAC:

1. To develop a quality system to improve the academic and administrative performance of the College.
2. To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement.
3. To facilitate a conducive environment for learner - centric quality education.
4. To ensure documentation of various activities. This guides the institution towards academic excellence.
5. To be a centre of control for the co-ordination of the quality related activities including the adoption of best practices.
