Career Guidance & Placement Cell

CGPC of the college established in 2004, provides placement assistance to all its students. The cell regularly conducts grooming sessions for the students in areas like soft skills, interview facing skills, behavioural skills thereby making them industry fit.

    Objectives
  • 1. To provide career guidance and employment support to students.
  • 2. To facilitate placement opportunities and connect students with prospective employers.
  • 3. To strengthen industry–institution collaboration for enhanced career and internship opportunities.
  • 4. To organize career development programmes on employability, soft skills, resume writing, aptitude, group discussions, and interview preparation.
  • 5. To foster alumni engagement through Alumni Connect programmes for mentoring, career guidance, networking, and knowledge sharing.
  • 6. To enhance students' employability by promoting industry-relevant skills and professional competencies.
Guidelines for Placements
  • 1. All interested final-year students will register with the Career Guidance & Placement Cell (CGPC) through the prescribed online registration process.
  • 2. Placement Eligibility Test (PET) will be conducted for all the registered students.
  • 3. The students who do not qualify the PET will undergo campus recruitment training (CRT) classes for duration of 30 hours.
  • 4. UG & PG students are allowed to take one offer only irrespective of core or BPO.
  • 5. Offers to students are made only through the Placement Cell of the college.
  • 6. The selection process broadly followed by companies includes initially a PPT presentation of the company and the job profile they are offering followed by an aptitude test, GD, technical interview and HR Round.
  • 7. The selection process will be held in the college campus on a mutually convenient date. On completion of the selection procedure, organizations announce the list of selected candidates on the same day. At times, the final round of interview is conducted at the company’s campus.
  • 8. Organizations are requested to specify the terms and conditions discussed and agreed upon during the interviews along with the list of selected students to the placement officer.
