About the club:

The club is a platform for the entire students of the college that conducts talent shows, debates, storytelling and other events that provide a space for the students to exhibit their art. The club has been an active body in the college organizing various competitions and adding value to the faculty of Arts and to the whole college..

Objectives
• To enhance the students competitive and collaborative spirit
• To harness the skills of the students that would help them to be a better person
• To create a platform to exhibit multiple talents of the students.

Functionality:

The club has an organizing committee which plans the events well in advance and functions effectively in coordination with all the students of BA. The club plays a key role in making the students learn leadership qualities, time management and organization skills.

Inception of Club

Life science students attend the club every Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. It conducts- Quiz programs, debates, discussion of current discoveries in the field of life sciences, nobel laureates and their contributions. The Science Club conducted the science awareness to the high school level students in various aspects like “Neuroscience Program” in 2008. As part of this program the students from John Hopkins University delivered lectures to the students about the Human Brain and its functions. There were interactive sessions among students for discussing the current trends in science. Scientific writing is practiced by students to improve their skills in interpreting the experimental results.

It provides an opportunity for the students to enhance their learning, skills, self-confidence and knowledge of the world. It conducts intercollegiate quiz competitions, which are also open for the corporates.

: Fusion Tech, the BCA club was started during the academic year 2017-18, under the guidance of the Department of Computer Science. It aims to provide exposure to the students by bringing awareness of the latest technologies through workshops by industry experts, alumni talks, conducting various competitions that test the technical skillset of the students

Objectives
• The Club motivates the students to come up with their own startup ideas.
• Helps in building technical and business confidence.
• It encourages the students to participate in various extracurricular activities such as Group Discussions, Emoji Designing, Sports, and Technical Quiz etc.

Functions :
• Provide opportunity to interact with industry experts by organizing workhops to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
• Provide opportunity to interact with alumni which helps the students to setup their career path for their bright future.
• To inculcate knowledge among students with respective to programming languages and other latest technologies in computer science by organizing guest lectures with subject experts.
• Organizes the events/competitions such as quiz, problem solving, paper presentations, Group Discussions, startup ideas to improve their intellectutal ability.
• Organizes the sports events to build the students physical fitness.
