Sithram Club

About the club:

: The art of storytelling is a very ancient and prominent form of arts. The todays adaptation of that art form is cinema. Over the years, film making has been a mass consumption of entertainment for the people. Sithram the film club will give the students a platform to learn and implement different crafts of film making by conducting workshops, discussions and competitions.

Objectives
• To create interest and enthusiasm in students for different crafts of film making
• To educate student’s viewing experience of a movie
• To enhance the students competitive and collaborative spirit
• To harness the skills of the students that would help them to be a better film maker
• To create a platform to exhibit talents of the students which are related to cinema.

Functionality:

The club has an organizing committee which plans the events well in advance and functions effectively in coordination with all the students of BA. The club plays a key role in making the students learn the art form of story telling and film making effectively, and educate students on how to watch and understand a movie
