Vyoma Club

“Vyoma” – The Bhavan’s Astronomy Club is launched by the Department of Physics and Electronics on 3rd December 2021. Vice Chairman Air Commodore (Retd) JLN Sastry (VSM), Principal Prof. Y. Ashok, Vice Principal Mrs. B, Niraimathi and the chief Guest of the day Dr. J Rukmini, former Head, Department of Astronomy, Osmania University were the dignitaries present for the launching ceremony.

    Objectives
  • Vyoma-The journey through dark space, as the name suggests has the following objectives: To provide an opportunity to learn about the celestial objects and in understanding the mysteries of space to bring together the staff and students to share their knowledge and information related to Astronomy and Astrophysics to equip the members with the latest techniques and observational skillsVyoma also aims at participating in scientific research by collaborating in programs like Citizen Science with Pune Knowledge Cluster and International Amateur Astronomical Association.
