Shri Kulapathi Dr.K.M.Munshi, In the Galaxy of eminent men of India, Kanhaiyalal Maneklal Munshi is a shining star that still beckons humanity to the path of duty and dharma. As a young man, Kanhaiyalal Manekalal Munshi was imbued with India's greatness. Not yet out of his teens, he learnt from his mother's songs and stories about the sages and seers of India's past. The heritage that these master-spirits represented was ingrained in the young Munshi deeply; and later this incipient perception received an adult dimension.

Languages Day Celebrations
The right kind of training and guidance during the formative years really shapes one’s career. At Bhavan’s, I had the most wonderful teachers whose lessons piqued my interest in Science, particularly Biology. They provided me (and still do) with the perfect foundation I required to pursue my higher studies in Science. 6 years later, I still go back to the lessons (both academic and non-academic) taught to me in college when I need to figure something out. Bhavan’s was and will remain my first step towards a passionate career in science.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans, has the perfect ambience of learning. The calm and green campus creates a conducive environment and creates a pleasant atmosphere of study. The teaching staff are very much aligned with the vision of Bhavans in instilling the right attitude of learning in students and always inspiring them towards excelling by organising various programs such as science fairs and student gathering/discussion forums.
The knowledge of microbiology and molecular techniques learned during academics enhanced my strength to take up microbial fermentation and industrial scale-up technologies as a professional career.
Bhavan’s College holds a special place in my heart and my overall development due to many reasons- it has strong ethos and values along with modern infrastructure and teaching methodology with an alluring campus. They have a unique balance of modern science, economical, political and spiritual belief to serve the world as one family.
Very often I reflect on what is the important skill that needs to be learned in college that sets you up for a very successful career? The answer in my opinion is “Training the mind to think and question” and a lot of credit has to be given to Bhavans for fostering that very culture wherein you are encouraged to think and question almost everything. Especially in those extremely formative years of your life (college) and totally inline with how Albert Einstein puts it: “The value of college education is not the learning of many facts but the training of the mind to think.
